Rocky Dale Salter, 61, of Newport, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at UNC Chapel Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 16, 2016 with Rev. Wayne Best officiating at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City.
Rocky is survived by his wife, Vicki Salter of the home; sons, Norman Warner of Newport, Michael Warner of Newport and Christopher Salter of Cape Carteret; brothers, Perry Salter of Newport and Jay Salter of Newport; sister, Connie Lewis of Charleston, SC; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Oleda (Dixon) Salter.
The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
