Robin Ann Lord

Robin Ann Lord, 70, of Marshallberg, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024, at her home.

Robin was born on April 16, 1953, to the late Robert and Avis Salisbury. She was born in Catskill, New York, and grew up just north of there in Coxsackie. 

Robin was blessed with 30 wonderful years with her life companion and fiancé, John Joseph Slenzo Jr., before his passing in 2022.   Every winter, for the past 20 years, they would come to Carteret County, NC where they enjoyed coastal life. In 2020, they moved to North Carolina, residing in Marshallberg.

Robin had a deep appreciation for simple joys and the beauty of nature. She loved driving her golf cart around her coastal neighborhood. And nothing was more relaxing than when she was able to sit on her porch and watch the thunderstorms roll in. 

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Amber Lord Anatriello (David Laux) of Marshallberg, NC and Douglas Lord (Vickie Scaglione) of Coxsackie, NY; siblings, Valerie Murphy, Darleen Dudley, and James Salisbury, all of Coxsackie, NY; grandchildren, Chase Lord, Samantha Perry, Hunter Perry, and Dakota Anatriello (Nicole); and great-grandchildren, Braeden Morrison, and Julia Anatriello.

In addition to her parents and fiancé, Robin was preceded in death by her grandson, Colby Lord.
