Robin Elisha Johnson

Robin Elisha Johnson, 45, of Newport, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, at Carolina East Medical Center.

A private memorial service will be held at Munden Funeral Home.

Robin was born on June 14, 1975, in New Bern, NC, to Betty Jean Johnson and the late Eli Vance Johnson. She was often known to lend a helping hand to those in need, her tender heart allowed her to give freely without constraint. She made beautiful jewelry that she liked to share with her loved ones. Her inquisitive mind was always working, she was quick to research anything new that came her way. Robin enjoyed riding horses and going to the beach. More than anything though, Robin loved her family, especially her only child, Ethan, and she treasured the quality time she spent with her mother. Prior to her father passing away, the two of them always enjoyed watching movies together.

She is survived by her son, Ethan Vance Johnson of Morehead City; mother, Betty Jean Johnson of Newport; sisters, Julie Garner and husband Keith of Morehead City and Cricket Edgell and husband Trevor of Swansboro; and nieces, Sarah and Faith Garner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Boy Scouts Troop, 61, at 157 Howard Blvd., Newport, NC 28570.
