Robert "Bobby" Burruel Tellez

Robert "Bobby" Burruel Tellez, 59, of Havelock, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at Temples Point.

Robert was born on August 19, 1963, in Tucson, Arizona, to the late Juan Tellez Tellez and Maria Virginia Tellez. Artistic creativity came naturally to Bobby in all aspects of his life. His love of music inspired him to play the guitar and drums, both of which he taught himself. Woodworking was another avenue where he expressed his talent and also used it as a lifelong career as a skilled cabinet maker. Bobby will be remembered as a loving husband of 16 years, and an adoring father to his dogs, horses, and turtles.

He is survived by his wife, Janice "Jan" Tellez of the home; siblings, Rosemary Haneberg and husband Charles, Juan Tellez and wife Becky, Elizabeth Alvarez, and Dolores Claunch and husband Donald, all of Tucson, Arizona, and Virginia Rostek and husband Ronald of Havelock, North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and furry friends, his lovable dogs, Happy, Sammy, and Oliver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard Alvarez; great niece, Graciana Guerrero.
