Robert "Bob" E Taylor

Robert "Bob" Edgar Taylor, 71, of Morehead City, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Bob served his country in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was the former owner and operator of Rapscallions and The Book Shop in Morehead City.
He is survived by three sons, Robert S. Taylor and wife Layne of Hillsborough, Joseph C. Taylor of Morehead City, and John Samuel "Sam" Taylor and wife Becca of Morehead City; three sisters, Betsy Foltz of Onancock, VA, Susan Maniatis of Chesapeake, VA, and Linda Rich of Chesapeake,VA; two brothers, Jim Taylor of Rochester, NY, and George Taylor of Beaufort; and three granddaughters, Maeve Taylor, Olwen Taylor, and Lia Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ann "Randy" Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Dr. Greenville, NC 27834 or to Audobon North Carolina, 400 Silver Cedar Court, Suite 240, Chapel Hill, NC 27514-1585 for support of coastal programs.
