Robert Vayda, 75, of Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina and Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home in Pine Knoll Shores, NC.

Robert was born and raised in Bound Brook, New Jersey. He started his career with Bell Labs, then worked for RCA as a head lab technician and finally retired from Anadigics. He split his retirement between his homes in New Jersey and Pine Knoll Shores, NC. He enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, hunting and boating. He also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. He will be remembered as a dedicated family man that loved his children and grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Judy Vayda of 51 years; sons, Robert Scott Vayda of Newport, James Joseph Vayda of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Sean Michael Vayda of Flemington, New Jersey; grandchildren Kristiana, Brandi, Brandon.
He was preceded in death by his father John Vayda; mother, Marion Vayda; brothers, John Vayda, Jr., Henry Vayda.
