Mr. Robert E. Rouse, 65, of Newport died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at his home.
There will be a private family service.
He was a lifelong mechanic and a Jack of all trades. He owned and operated his own business for a period of time.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Rouse of Newport; daughter, Pamela Rouse Morris and husband, Timothy of Otway; step-daughter, Pam McCrosson and husband Sal of Depew, NY; four grandchildren, Samantha Sanders, Ronald (Buddy) Sanders, Jr. , Haley and Sonny McCrosson; mother, Virginia Rouse of Morehead City; father, Gordon Bill Rouse of Newport; brother, Gordon Rouse of Newport;
He was preceded in death by his step-son, Bruce E. (Rusty) Marshall, II.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help Pam and Timothy’s nephews who have been diagnosed with ALD. You may contribute at any Wachovia in the account of Jonathan T. Morris or Matthew C. Morris.
