Robert E. Reynolds

Mr. Robert E. Reynolds, 69, of Newport died Friday, January 14th, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 19th, 2011 at 4:00 P. M. in Munden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
A native of Kinston, Mr. Reynolds was a United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of VFW Post
# 2401 in Beaufort having served as post commander for two years. He formerly worked as a police
officer in Kinston and Smithfield, but will be remembered by most for over twenty years service as
manager of Atlantic Station Cinema Theater in Atlantic Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Reynolds of Newport; one daughter, Lynn Sather and husband Stacy
of Jacksonville; two sons, Harold Reynolds and wife Betty of Newport; Robert E. Reynolds, III and wife
Debbie of Kentucky; one sister, Kathy Reynolds of Deep Run; ten grandchildren, four great
grandchildren, but “Papa” to many.
