Robert “Bob” Henry Price

Robert “Bob” Henry Price, 69, of Bettie, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

The family invites everyone to join them in a celebration of Bob’s life this coming spring. The gathering will include a barbecue and a time of fellowship to honor his life.

Bob was born on June 26, 1955, in Fort Morgan, Colorado to the late James “Jim” and Rosemary Price. He was a graduate of Fort Morgan High School and after completion, he entered into Law Enforcement and worked for the Fort Morgan Police Department.

A man of many trades, Bob sought other adventures as well, including driving late model race cars, driving big rigs, and later a career in auto parts, both in Colorado and North Carolina. 

Most recently, Bob was employed with Kittrell Auto Parts in Morehead City, NC up until he got too sick to work. He then remained very close to the family who he loved dearly.

A proud member of the Down East Community, Bob had many families and friends that he would do anything for. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Katherine Price of Bettie, NC; son, Dustin Price and wife Kelly of Stoneham, CO; daughter, Melody Hogeland and husband Tyler of Bettie, NC; grandchildren, Atavia Price of Cheyenne, WY, Chevelle Price of Sterling, CO, Mia Price and Silas Price, both of Stoneham, CO and Coraline Wooten (his Kazoo) of Bettie, NC; great-granddaughter, Camille Vaughn of Cheyenne, WY; brothers, James Price of Loveland, CO and Tom Price and wife Ann of Rapid City, SD; sisters, Judy Price of Fort Morgan, CO, Shirley Reed and Sue Price both of Sterling CO; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Jones.
