Robert Earl Harrelson

Robert Earl Harrelson, 64, formerly of Greensboro and resided in Newport, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Carolina East Medical Center.
All services will be private per family’s request.
Robert loved to go fishing as well as working in his garden. He also loved all styles of music and had a great appreciation for it. Most of all, Robert was a family man and enjoyed spending as much time with his family as possible.
He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Rouse; daughter, Jennifer Harrelson (Mark Francis) of Newport; brothers, Michael Harrelson, David Harrelson, and Donnie Harrelson, all of Greensboro; sister, Debbie Harrelson of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Mark Francis, Jr., and George Francis III.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Harrelson and Elizabeth Nix.
