Robert Allen Gillikin

Robert Allen Gillikin, 64, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Monday, April 7, 2025.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 12th at Munden Funeral Home, with Pastor Manley B. Rose Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Robert was born on February 3, 1961, to the late Nathan Durwood Gillikin and Mamie Carolyn Gillikin.

Robert enjoyed fishing, painting houses, mowing the grass, tending to his yard and working on his boat. Robert will be remembered for his love of family and friends and along with the little things in life that made him happy.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his son Aaron Robert Gillikin of Newport, NC; brother Dan Thomas Gillikin (Brenda) of Morehead City, NC; nephew Nathan Daniel Gillikin of Beaufort, NC; and many very special cousins.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved dog "Baxter".
