Robert H. Gibson, 89, of Morehead City passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at his home.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Morris Gibson of the home; two daughters, Teresa Ferrell of Morehead City, Joleen Shaper Digiugno and husband Joseph of Litchfield Pk. AZ; five grandchildren, Robin Mogavero, Christopher Ferrell, Jack Shaper, Jason Shaper and Jamie Howley; eleven great grandchildren; five sisters, Lillie Thinnes of Gas, IN, Frances Gibson of KY, Josephine Fields of Wabash, IN, Barbara Zeek of IN, Mary Sue Gibson of Summerset, KY; three brothers, Clark Gibson of Burnside, KY, George Gibson of Jefferson, IN, and Jerry Gibson of Burnside, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosie Gibson; one brother, Forrest Gibson.
