Robert "Bob" Flynt

Mr. Robert "Bob" Flynt, 87, of Morehead City, formerly of High Point, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing Facility.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Guilford Memorial Park in High Point with Rev. Harold Patrick officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Chris Flynt of the home; son, Philip Flynt and wife, Debra of High Point; daughter, Violet Mae Josey and husband, Ronnie of Bartow, GA; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by father and mother, Robert and Ethel Flynt, and three sons, Danny Lee Flynt, Stanley Allen Flynt, and Glen Allen Flynt.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any charity benefiting veterans.
