Robert Timothy Aycock

Robert Timothy Aycock, 63, of Newport, died Tuesday July 31, 2012 at Vidant Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
Robert served his country in the US Army and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 8986 in Newport, NC.
He is survived by wife Julia Aycock of the home: a daughter Roxanne Hill and husband Clay of Myrtle Beach, SC and three sons Michael Shane Aycock and wife Jennifer of Newport, Robert Timothy Aycock, Jr., and wife Jessica of Laurinburg, NC and Jeremy Tyson Aycock and wife Fara of Newport : a brother Jimmy Dale Aycock of Lacoma, NC: mother in-law Esther Davis of the home: six grandchildren Elexis Aycock, Aerial Inman, Gage Aycock, Nathan Aycock, Alysa Aycock, and Stephen Hollister: and beloved dog "little bit".
He was preceded in death by his parents Jarvis and Annabell Aycock, a brother Donnie Aycock, and sister Diane Hardesty.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
