Rita Salter Smith, 83, of Atlantic, died Friday, May 6, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Atlantic Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Omega Chapter.
Services will be held 4:00 pm Sunday at Atlantic Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Brookshire officiating, assisted by Rev. Terry McInnis and Rev. Michael Fields. Interment will follow in Atlantic Community Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill Smith; son, Robert Smith and wife Linda of Otway; daughter, Kathy Jo Fulcher of Swansboro; granddaughters, Katie Smith and Heather Carpenter and husband Guy; great grandson, Garrett Carpenter and aunt, Annie Mae Allen.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at the church.
