Mr. Richard Walton Mercer of Morehead City died Thursday, Agust 12, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Parkview Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife Dollie B. Mercer of the home; sons Steven Ray Mercer of Morehead City, Jimmy McCall and wife Nita of Morehead City, and Richard Keith Mercer and wife Anne of Raleigh; daughter Paula J. Mercer of Morehead City; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Ann Stevens of Lumberton, and Jane Atkinson of Fairmont
