Richard Grayson Lovick, 71, of South River, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Coleman officiating.
He is survived by his wife Amelia W. Lovick of the home; his "Best Buddy, his dog Rambo"; two sons Richard G. Lovick of Beaufort, and Jonathan D. Lovick of Morehead City; step daughter Audra Baker of Raleigh; four grandchildren; sisters Janice Coleman of Jacksonville, Faye Barwick of Angier, and Dhona Lovick of Angier; a brother William Lovick of Jacksonville; a brother in-law Joseph Wheeler of Dunn; two aunts Myrtle Long Howland of Newport, and Dorothy Long Mitchell of Morehead City.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St.Jude's Children's Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale St. Memphis, TN 38105,Carteret County Humane Society 853 Hibbs Rd. Newport, NC 28570, or a charity of one's choice.
