Richard A Lockowitz, Jr. 58, of Cedar Point, NC died suddenly on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at home.

His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Oliverie Funeral Home in Manchester Township, New Jersey. Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, New Jersey.

Born in San Antonio, TX he resided in Toms River and Manchester, New Jersey until 2000, before moving to Cedar Point, North Carolina 19 years ago. He worked in the Maintenance Department for Pebble Beach Condo Complex in Emerald Isle, NC and the 3M Company in Freehold, NJ. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, spending time with his family and friends and was an avid fan of the NY Giants & NY Yankees.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Kathy Ann Krafft Lockowitz; son, Jesse, 29, of Cedar Point; sister, Deborah Clark and husband Mel of Stahlstown, PA; mother-in-law, Dorothy Ehresman of Newport; cousin Joe Mei; niece, Christine Keslar and husband Bobby and their children Emily and Rylan; nephew, Roy Bartlett; and best friends, Joe K., Mike and Jayne, Peg, Vinnie and Marylou, Tricia, and Guy and Kim.

He is predeceased by his parents, Richard & Antoinette Lockowitz.

Visitation is Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Oliverie Funeral.
