Richard "Paul" Guthrie, 73, of Harkers Island, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.
A funeral will be held 3:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2015 at Refuge Fellowship Church with Pastor Manley B. Rose, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
Paul is survived by wife Carolyn Guthrie of the home; one son Timothy Wayne Guthrie of Beaufort; one daughter Paula Jean Willis of Beaufort; two grandchildren Natasha Guthrie, and Michael Guthrie; and two great grandsons Ayden Davis Norman, and Jaxson Alton West.
He was preceded by his parents Richard and Mary Guthrie, and two sisters Helen Davis, and Pearline German.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the church.
