Rebecca "Becky" Ann Hill Murphy

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Hill Murphy, 81, of Stacy, departed this life on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Pruitt Health Care in Sea Level.

Her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Munden Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Stacy Community Cemetery.

Becky was a long-time member of the Stacy Free will Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She retired from civil service at Cherry Point.

She is survived by husband of 63 years, Clayborn Murphy of the home; daughter, Ava Dawn Murphy of the home; sister, Janet Hill Salter and husband Bryan of Sea Level; aunt, Allie Harris Gaskill of Stacy; nieces, Lea Hill Daniels and husband Steve of Sea Level, Linda Taylor Fulcher and fiancé Thomas Mann of Beaufort; nephews, Patrick Hill and wife Becky of Atlantic, Lloyd Thomas Salter and fiancé Amanda Eubanks of Concord; great-nephews, Joshua Hill, Thomas James Hill, Robert Lloyd Hill, Nathaniel Hill, Dustin Taylor, Gray Daniels; cousin and long-time friend, Barbara Hill Taylor of Morehead City; and other loving cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Sr., and Lela G. Hill and brother, Lloyd Hill, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Munden Funeral Home.
