Rebecca "Becky" Collins Douglas

Rebecca “Becky” Collins Douglas, 60, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, December 26­, 2018, at her home.

Her memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. John B. Thompson, Jr.

Becky was born in New Bern, and lived her whole life in Eastern, North Carolina. She worked for civil service at Cherry Point for 27 years. She was a warm person that was friends with all she met.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur “Art” Douglas, of the home; sons, Gary W. Duncan, II, Phillip C. Duncan, and David B. Duncan; and her sister, Doris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Doris Collins; and brother, Robbie Collins.

Family will receive friends following the service on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home.
