Rebecca Norman, born on November 24, 1948, in Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving children.
A devoted Christian, Rebecca cherished her faith and her relationship with Jesus, which served as the foundation for her life. Known for her warm spirit, she never met a stranger and offered prayers for anyone in need, embodying the essence of compassion and kindness.
Rebecca was gifted with a servant heart and a profound love for music. She expressed her devotion through worshiping in church, sharing her talents on the piano and guitar, and enchanting others with her beautiful voice. Her musical gifts were a source of joy and inspiration to many, and she used them to uplift her community.
Rebecca is survived by her beloved children, Laura Lynde (Travis), Lee Hester, and Joshua Lambeth (Megan). She was a proud grandmother to her three cherished grandchildren: Koen Jack Hester, Kinsley Grace Lambeth, and Natalie Jade Lambeth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie W. Logan, and her mother, Ettie Mae Logan.
A resident of Cherry Point Bay, Rebecca cultivated many friendships and was a beloved member of her community. Her legacy of love, faith, and unwavering support for those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rebecca's life was a testament to the power of faith and the importance of family, and she will be remembered for her generous heart, her musical talents, and the joy she brought into the lives of others.
