Raymond Tyree Jones, Jr.
R.T. Jones, Jr., 63 of Wilmington (and formerly of Atlantic Beach) died peacefully on Friday June 22, 2012.
He was born on December 28, 1948 in Raleigh, NC. R.T. is survived by his sons R.T. Jones and wife Nicole , and Rodney Jones and wife Lana. His brother Connie "Homer" Jones and granddaughter Evelyn. His dog- Beckham and many devoted friends.
He proudly served in the US Navy during Vietnam. His love of the sea carried over from the Navy into a successful fishing career.
The family would like to recognize the sincere appreciation to the staff members of Community Homecare & Hospice and Northchase Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to Community Hospice 252-240-1142 and Carteret County Animal Shelter.
Memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of his life at Crystals 320 East Fort Macon Rd. Atlantic Beach.
