Raymond Hall, 88, of Beaufort, NC died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
Mr. Hall relocated from Kinston to Morehead City in 1961, accepting a job as city manager. Later, he worked as a tug boat captain for Cottrell Engineering. He served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater in WWII. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Morehead City.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie O'Neal Hall of Beaufort, NC; sons, Robert Morris Hall and wife, Stacy of Havelock, NC and Pat Langdale of Newport, NC; grandchildren, Hillary Hall, Matthew Hall, Drew Hall, Bryce Langdale, Brogan Langdale, Amberlei Dent, and Andei Keough; daughter-in-law, Kelly Langdale of Beaufort, NC; and great-grandchildren, Noah Cauley and Jack Carrier.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hall.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
