Mill Creek

Raymond Thomas Graham Jr., 64, of Mill Creek, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020, at his home.

Raymond will be laid to rest at the Graham Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Mill Creek.

Raymond was born on September 5, 1956, in Morehead City, to Raymond T. Graham Sr. and the late Lillian Huml Graham. Continuing the tradition of his family, who have been fishing for four generations, he spent his life on the open waters as a commercial fisherman where oysters and clams were his specialty. The long hours laboring on the water were always pure joy for him.

Raymond was known for being able to fix anything, his skills were incredible, and he was never afraid to tackle a new project. He enjoyed keeping busy, whether he was working on his boat or in his yard, he always had a task to accomplish. Most importantly, Raymond was a family man who loved spending quality time with his family.

He is survived by his father, Raymond T. Graham Sr. of Mill Creek; sisters, Linda Faircloth and husband Ron of New Bern and Sheryl Burris of Raleigh; brother, James Graham of Mill Creek; nephews, Joseph Fairfield and wife Sandi of Fort Stewart, GA and Jeremy Burris of Raleigh; great niece and nephew, Emily Fairfield and Gavin Fairfield, both of Ft. Stewart, GA.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl-Lynn Graham.
