Ray Lee Gray, Sr.
March 8, 1929 — February 4, 2015
Ray Lee Gray, Sr., 85, of Morehead City, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Carolina House surrounded by family.
A graveside service will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating.
Ray served his country in the United States Coast Guard for over 24 years and was highly decorated. He was a brother of Freemasonry of the Ocean Lodge and a Past Master. He enjoyed spending time on the water.
He is survived by his three daughters Janet Depathy of Plymouth, MA, Dolores Baker and husband Rodney of Beaufort, NC, and Donna Greene and husband Tommy of Newport, NC; two sons Ray Lee Gray, Jr. and wife Susan of Newport, NC, and David Gray and wife Lynne of Springhill, FL; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Dickson Gray, his parents Edward and Rosa Gray, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home.
