Randy Darren Piner

Randy Darren Piner, 50, of Williston, passed away, Sunday, December 11th , 2016 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Cedar Island United Methodist Church with Rev. Darcy Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Island Community Cemetery.

Randy lived his life with integrity, humility and had a kind and gentle spirit. His passing leaves so many with a tremendous sense of loss, but we are grateful that he embraced and lived his life   fully and compassionately, making it joyful for others. He was the epitome of a devoted and affectionate Daddy that few can compare.

He attended Cedar Island United Methodist Church, with his home church being Williston United Methodist Church.

Randy is survived by his wife, Faith Ann Gaskill Piner of the home; daughter, Miranda Dawn Piner of Beaufort; sons, Daylen Merit Piner and Darren Ashton Piner both of the home; brother, Steven Ellsworth Piner of Beaufort; sister, Vickie Piner of Morehead City; grandchildren, Holden and Karleigh; nephew, Patrick Piner; niece, Shennon Mason; uncle, Frank Piner; as well as many more family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln Ellsworth Piner and Martha Louise Hill Piner; and a sister, Jeanne Piner Morris.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Williston United Methodist Church. The family will also receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 pm Thursday prior to the service at Cedar Island United Methodist Church.
