Randy Taylor Martin

Randy Taylor Martin, 66, of Reidsville, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Carteret Health Care.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Randy was born on September 7, 1956, in Reidsville, North Carolina, to the late Charles and Marguerite Martin. He served in the United States Navy where his commitment contributed to the defense and protection of our country's maritime interests.
Randy was a diligent, committed, and hard-working man. He loved working on cars, especially hot rods, and had a great enthusiasm for automotive mechanics and customizing vehicles.

His happiest road trips brought him to the beach where he enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, beautiful sights, and the salt life vibe. With his outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality, Randy never met a stranger. He talked with ease with new people and was always welcoming, treating everyone with kindness and familiarity.

Randy will be remembered as a loving husband and father, dedicated to his family. Those remaining to cherish his memory are his children, Cassie Martin, Taylor Martin and Charley Martin and wife Olivia, all of Reidsville, NC; and his sister, Charlesanna Card of Orcas Island in northwestern Washington.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Caroline Gardner Martin.
