Randy Norris Lovette

Randy "Randall" Norris Lovette, 71, of Atlantic Beach, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Carteret Landing.

His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 8th, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. King Cole.   He will be laid to rest at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

Randy was born on March 23, 1951, in Robeson, North Carolina, to the late Gilbert and Virginia Lovette. After receiving his bachelor's degree, Randy had a successful career as a financial advisor. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in New Bern and was an enthusiastic member of Memories Dance Club.

One of Randall's biggest joys in life was the Boys Scouts. He was heavily involved in Boys Scouts Troop #13 (New Bern), where he served as Troop Leader, Scout Master from 1990-1996, an Assistant Scout Master from 1996 to current. He was a vigil honor member of the Croatan Lodge of the Order of the Arrow. Randy was a proud Eagle Scout who impacted a great deal of boys in the Scouts throughout his life.

He is survived by his brother, Alan Lovette and wife Adrienne of Davidson, NC and close friend, Carol Lewis Fisher.
