Randolph Pridgen, 77, of LaGrange and Morehead City, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

A visitation is planned for Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at his daughter’s home in Morehead City.

Randolph was born in Nash County and lived LaGrange for most of his life where he served on the town council, as mayor pro-term and mayor. He was a past member of the LaGrange Rotary Club, Committee of 100, Board of Walnut Creek Country Club, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather with a passion for fishing and golf. He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends as well as walking his best boy, Tucker.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Monsees Pridgen of the home; daughter, Michele Pridgen Zeph and husband David of Morehead City; granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Soriente and husband Gabe; sisters, Faye, Janet and Debbie; brothers, Ed, Raymond and David and their spouses; brothers-in-law, Jim and Tom and their spouses; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mack and Lela Pridgen; sister, Pat Ball; and brother, Marvin Pridgen.
