Ralph Richard Paulus
January 24, 1953 — February 10, 2016
Ralph Richard Paulus, 63, of Beaufort passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his home.
Ralph was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After honorably serving in the USMC, he settled his family in New Cumberland, PA. He retired from F.M. Berkheimer HVAC after 14 years with the company and was a member of Bowmansdale Church of God. In 2015 he relocated his family to eastern NC, where he attended Otway Christian Church. He will be remembered for his amazing abilities working with his hands and his willingness to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Paulus of 42 years; one daughter, Beth Anne Krum and husband Jonathan of Stella, NC; one son, Joseph A. Paulus and wife Laura of Bear Creek, NC; one granddaughter, Kyle Jean Krum; and one grandchild on the way; mother, Doris J. Foster and husband George; one brother and two sisters; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Eugene Paulus.
He loved spending time in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He regularly donated blood and had recently received a certificate for donating 2 gallons. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank, 8167 Adams Drive, Hummelstown, PA 17036 and/or Bowmansdale Church of God, 101 E. Lisburn Rd., Bowmansdale, PA 17055.
