Porsche Anna Steeves

On Monday, March 15, 2021, Porsche Steeves, loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and aunt passed away at 45 years old at her home in Morehead City, North Carolina.

Porsche was born on January 3, 1976, in Truckee California. She was raised in northern and southern California her whole childhood.  She received a medical assistant certification in Southern California in her early twenties.

Porsche was a loving mother to Devonte', Jordan and Mackenzie. She was the daughter of George Cameron Caroll and Barbara Lynn Russell, granddaughter of Grace and Sheldon Russell and James and Mariom Carroll, sister to Jillian Carroll, niece to Cindy Russell and Charlie Lewis and aunt to Tyler, Hannah and Olivia.

Porsches greatest accomplishments were her beautiful children. Porsche had a love for sports and her family. Porsche was strong-willed and had a determination to overcome all of life's obstacles thrown her way.

Porsche was a realist, she believed that no story truly had an ending. She was convinced that we created our own destiny by how well we strived but not limited by our achievements.

She was without a doubt a "go getter", a "way maker".  She was remarkably impressive by her perseverance in life. As anyone in life, Porsche had struggles but she remained strong. "Pick yourself up and dust yourself off" is what she always said. But only precious few were able to witness her sensitive, loving, forgiving and nurturing side, that's where her light shined the brightest. Porsche will be loved and missed by so many friends and family.

Any Memorial services are yet to be determined. We will notify friends and family at a later date.

Revelations 21:4, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, or morning or crying or pain.  For the old order of things has passed away."
