Phyllis (Purifoy) Kittrell

Phyllis Kittrell, 70, of Morehead City, was called home on Thursday, November 4, 2010, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a wife to George Kittrell for 53 years.
Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Causey officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
In addition to her husband George, she is survived by her daughters Juanita Kittrell of the home, and Teresa Freeman and husband Lennie of Morehead City; granddaughter, Audrey L. Filipcic of Atlantic Beach; great-granddaughter, Kayla L. Filipcic of Cape Carteret; sisters, Wanda P. Willis, Shirley P. Dennin and husband Jerry, all of Morehead City, and Kathyrn P. Brown of Sophia, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents Steven Edward Purifoy and Iola G. Purifoy, and brother, Steve Purifoy, Jr.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
