Philip C. England

Philip C. England, a resident of Pine Knoll Shores and Fuquay-Varina, NC, passed away peacefully at home on December 17, 2024, at the age of 72. 

Phil was born to Leland Stanford and Rachel Courtney Wilbur on May 22, 1952, in Decatur, Illinois. After graduating from Southern Illinois University, he worked as a manufacturing engineer. The proud owner of farmland in Macon and Piatt County, Illinois, Phil will be remembered for his love of farming and fast cars. Phil loved his family and prided himself in his ability to provide for them. 

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Sandra; his brother, David (Linda); his children, Jessica and Martin (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Erik, Kieran, and Jackson. He was a loving uncle to Lisa (Jim), Jon (Tracy), Christy, and Valerie. 

Phil was predeceased by his brother, Charles Edward. 

A celebration of Phil’s life will be announced at a later time.
