Peter Alan Rose, 28, of Beaufort, NC died Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
A memorial serivice will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at the Free Grace Wesleyan Church on Harkers Island with Rev. Clint Nelson officiating.
Peter loved the outdoors, his job, his friends, family and life in general. He was especially close to his dad, mother, and brothers.
He is survived by his two children, Bailey Rivers Rose of Harkers Island and Jonathan Alan Rose of Smyrna; parents, Charles and Jan Rose of Beaufort; two brothers, Scott Rose and wife, Amanda of Richmond, VA and Christopher Rose and wife, Tricia of Chesterfield, VA; paternal grandparents, Charlie Rose and Alta Rose Otway; maternal grandmother, Alice Karker of Richmond, VA; aunt, Priscilla Jane Rose of Otway; uncle, Peter Mark Karker of Richmond, VA; his faithful companion, Daisy; many cousins; and special angels, Pam Taylor and Larry Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Viva Gillikin Rose and maternal grandfather, Col. F. A. Karker, USMC Ret.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
