Peggy King Tucker, 77, of Morehead City, passed away October 1, 2014 after many months of declining health at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Morehead City.
The Tucker family will receive relatives and friends October 10, 2014 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City from 5:00PM - 7:00PM.
Peggy was born in Wake County, NC on June 20, 1937 to the late William Oscar King, Sr. and Adell Dixon King. She graduated from Wakelon High School in 1955. Peggy was devoted to her husband, the late First Sgt. Bill Tucker and her family. She was currently employed at the Broadstreet Clinic in Morehead City as the office manager.
Surviving are; son, Bill Tucker, Jr (Virginia Tucker); daughter, Pam Robinson (Charles Robinson); son, Tim Tucker; daughter, Meg Cornell (Brad Cornell); grandchildren, Samantha Robinson, Caleigh Cornell and Scot Cornell; sister, Pat King Perry (June) of Wendell; brother, Vernon D. King (Betty) of Birmingham, AL; sister-in-law, Rose Y. King of Wendell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Oscar King, Jr. and sister, Betty King Dean.
