Peggy Frances (Ellison) Pratt

Peggy Frances Pratt, 62, of Beaufort, died Wednesday January 25, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday January 28, at North River United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Rose Bottari officiating. Interment will follow at North River UMC Cemetery.
Peggy passionately loved her family and her grandchildren who captured her heart. She always put others before herself. She was a member of North River UMC and a former Librarian of Havelock and worked in the library at Carteret Community College. She was an avid reader of novels, history, and conducting research for he own projects.. She loved reading, and researching civil war history.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Ervin Pratt: three children Kris Fulcher and husband Paul of Virginia Beach, Debra Pratt of Laurens, SC and Johnathan Pratt and wife Kimberly of Jacksonville, NC: sisters Shirley Bouquot and husband Randy of Greer, SC and Jackie Gibson and husband Ervin of Hartsville, SC: four grandchildren Brittany Fulcher, Michael Fulcher, Robert Pratt and Joshua Pratt.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Annie Bell Ellison.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
