Peggy Lou Moyer, 56, of Smyrna, NC passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City, NC
Services will be private at the family's request.
She was an RN at Wyoming Medical Center for 14 years, retiring in 2005. She moved to Eastern North Carolina in 2007 to pursue her love of the outdoors. Fishing, hiking, and walking the beaches were some of her favorite hobbies. Peggy was a talented painter and enjoyed music and dancing. She had a soft spot for animals and had quite a variety of them living on the farm.
She had a bubbly personality and was an avid reader with an active imagination. She was well liked and a friend to alll she met.
She is survived by her life partner of 19 years, Robin J. Moyer; daughter, Jamie Yann and husband Scott Rundle of Casper, WY; son, Justin Foster of Casper WY,; brother, Alan Colvin; three sisters, Paula Coates, Judy Marek, and Barbara Camp; also three grandchildren, Paul, Izabela and Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal welfare charity of one's choice.
