Peda Louisa (Cheek) Martin

Peda Cheek Martin, 93, of Newport, died Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Croatan Ridge Nursing facility.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Terry Johnson Sr. officiating.
Peda loved fishing and went every opportuninty she received.
She is survived by a son James Martin of Havelock: brother Leo Cheek of Roaring River, NC: and a sister Frankie Cheek of Kernersville, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Martin and son Tex Martin.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
