Paul Scott Reeves

Paul Scott Reeves, 57, of Newport, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Carteret Health Care.

Paul was born on December 4, 1963, in London, England, to Harold Reeves and Linda Taylor. Growing up in a family of 9 siblings, family was important to him and he valued those relationships. Paul loved his country and was honored to serve in the United States National Guard.

The meals he would create were amazing and he was always happy to share his culinary skills with others. Spending time on the water fishing was certainly his happy place, the open water and peaceful setting were both invigorating and relaxing for him. No matter where he was or what he was doing Paul would have his radio on, the genre didn’t matter as he enjoyed it all.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery; mother, Linda Taylor; sisters, Amanda Alen, Pepper McGill, Bambi Boyle, Jennifer Java; brothers, Carl Reeves, Jason Reeves, Phillip Reeves, Jerry Reeves, and Tom Walbert; stepmother, Sherry Reeves; stepdaughters, Dawn Turner and Sandy Champion; and best friend, Thomas Rill.

Paul was preceded in death by his father Harold Reeves.
