Paul Ronald "Ronnie" Norris

Paul Ronald ?Ronnie? Norris, 59, of Newport, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at home surrounded by family.
Services will be held 11am Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Morehead City with the Rev. Billy Seate officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Ronnie was a hardworking man who retired from NC department of Marine Fisheries. He had a great love for his children and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, and fishing at his beach home.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ann Norris of Newport, NC; sons Paul Norris and Rosa of Morehead City, NC, and Austin Norris and wife Polly of Atlantic Beach; sisters Annie Ruth Edwards of Newport, NC, Shelby McPhail of Burlington, NC, Frances Stewart of Carthage, NC, Judy Cobb of Burlington, NC, and Brenda Moody of Siler City, NC; brothers Charles Norris, Dean Norris, Roger Norris, all of Asheboro, NC, and Tony Norris of Franklinville, NC; and his three grandchildren, Tanner, Reagan, and Jacob, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Ronnie Paul; brothers, Jimmy Ray Norris, and Bobby Norris; and sisters, Shirley Norris, and Betty Lou Duncan; his mother, Mary and his father, Paul.
The family will receive friends 6:00pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
