Paul Garvin Kirkland, Sr.

Paul G. Kirkland, Sr., 90, of Gloucester, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Harborview Health Care Center.
The family will have a memorial service 11:00 am Friday at Free Grace Wesleyan Church with Rev. Clinton Nelson officiating.
Paul served his country in the USMC and was a WWII and Korea veteran. He retired from MCAS Cherry Point.
He is survived by a son Paul Kirkland, Jr., of Gloucester, NC: one grandchild; two step children; six great grandchildren; and one brother Harold Kirkland of Batesburg, SC.
He was preceded in death by his wife Faye Nelson Kirkland.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at 4200 Morganton Rd. Suite 300 Fayetteville, NC 28314.
