Paul Lawrence Jennings

Paul Lawrence Jennings, 71, of Newport, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Stacy Free Will Baptist Church.  Pastor Ray Connor, of Life Point Church, will be officiating the service.

Mr. Jennings retired from Cherry Point as an Avionics Electrician. He served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was an avid Bingo player and loved NASCAR.

He is survived by his son, Carmen Jennings of Newport; father, Paul W. Jennings of Morehead City; brother, Richard W. Jennings of Stella; sister, Joyce Virginia Smith of Morehead City; and grandchildren, Jeffrey Paul Jennings and William Brock McKenzie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Bee Pittman Jennings; and his mother, Mary Jennings.

The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
