Paul Bradshaw

September 25, 1921 — April 6, 2010

Paul Benjamin Bradshaw, 88, of Newport, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Bradshaw served in the Army Air Corps, and later moved to Carteret County where he retired from Cherry Point after 34 years of service as an aircraft mechanic. He was a founding member of Newport Baptist Church.

Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Carroll and Rev. Susan Lindblade officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Park.

He is survived by three sons, Paul Douglas Bradshaw, Michael Ray Bradshaw and Jeff Bradshaw, wife Julie Blizzard Bradshaw, all of Newport; daughter, Jennifer Annette Bradshaw of Newport; four grandchildren, Cynthia Williams, husband Larry, Melissa Ann Hernandez, husband, Victor, Benjamin Bradshaw and Virginia Bradshaw and one great grandchild, Amayah Rae Ann Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Bradshaw, four sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
