Paul A. Beers

Paul A. Beers, 79, of Newport, NC, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at Carolina East Medical Center.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Beers was born in Ashville, PA and worked for th TRW in Cleveland, OH until 1997. He retired to Newport, NC in 2002.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Alice K. Beers of the home; step-son, William Sullivan of OH; sister, Marie De Angelis of PA; and brothers, Harold, also of PA, and Merrel of Canada. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Beers and his parents, Dewey H. Beers and Ruth C. Hollen Beers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Carteret County, PO Drawer 1619, Morehead City, NC 28557.
