Patricia "Trish" Huffstetler

Patricia "Trish" Huffstetler, 65, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Carteret Health Care.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at a later date in Arkansas.

Patricia, known to her friends and family as Trish, was born on February 24, 1957, in Hobbs, New Mexico. With her big heart and love for people, she was always ready to lend a helping hand and happy to help whenever needed.

In her down time, Trish enjoyed listening to music, and always enjoyed the drama and comedy of a good TV show. She loved to fish and enjoyed the beach. She was a great cook and loved to prepare meals for her friends and family.

Trish was a loving sister, supportive aunt, proud grandmother and faithful best friend.

She is survived by her sisters, Charlotte Adams of Duxbury, MA and Marsha Yasin of Morehead City, NC; brother, Steven Huffstetler of Rudy, AR; grandchildren, Jamie, Little Patrick, Red, Billy, and Benjamin; nieces and nephews, David (Jess), Carrie, Dale, Stevie Joe, Missy, Hosifa (Jess), Jaffar, Lauren, Hannah, Josh, Jake, BJ, Raashid, Sara, Lily, and Ruby; her best friend, Debbie; along with her cats, who she adored, Benji and Sadie.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Smith; father, Jack Huffstetler; sons, Patrick David Huffstetler and Oscar Lee Pena; brother, Billy Jack Huffstetler; nephew, Charlie Adams; and niece, Sara Yasin.
