Patricia Diane Torrington

Patricia Diane Torrington, 69, of Newport, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Carteret Health Care surrounded by her family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 16, 2016, at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City, with Pastor Bob Lowery officiating.
Patricia loved her horses and won many ribbons and medals with them. She also was a volunteer EMS member for two departments, and after many years she retired from West Carteret Water.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Wereley of Newport, and Lesa Kline and husband Shawn of NY; son, Jesse Weis of NY; and grandchildren, Danielle Robinson, Ashley Winton, Gregory Winton, Nathan Winton, Jared Kline and brother Harvey Elander and wife Carolyn of FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Helene Elander; husband, Herbert A. Torrington; and brother, Lee R. Elander.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Monday, May 16, 2016, at Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
