Patricia “Patty” LeClair Tali, 64, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

A memorial service to honor Patty’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 11, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Patrick Whaley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.

Patty was born on March 10, 1960, in Onslow County, NC, to the late Robert Clement LeClair and Joyce Marie LeClair. She was a graduate of West Carteret High School and made life-long friendships with her classmates.

Patty was a free spirit and gentle soul who brought joy and kindness into every life she touched. She had compassion and love for animals, especially her beloved pets who were a special part of her family. Patty loved to cook and bake, she was quite talented, her signature dishes were bacon mac and cheese and many delicious cakes. 

Patty had the biggest heart, embracing everyone she met with a spirit of acceptance and kindness. Her vibrant energy and sweet, loving nature made her an adored sister and friend to many. 

May her life be a testament to the love and light she brought to so many lives that she touched.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her fiancé, George Talton of Morehead City, NC; sister, Theresa LeClair Ipock and husband Michael Jr. of Newport, NC; nieces and nephews, Heather Davis, James Christopher Davis, Shawn Michael Davis, and Nicolas LeClair; great nieces and nephews, Joslyn Lee Mills and Dylan Kyle Mills; cousin, Lisa Cook; precious dog, Isabelle; and sweet cats, Maui and Jax.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her beloved twin brother, Robert Michael LeClair Jr. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society, 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, NC 28570.
