How does one describe Carroll Hill? Stubborn comes to mind, but so does loving, faithful and loyal.
He was dedicated to his wife Debbie Hill for 46 years of marriage. His love for her was obvious to anyone who knew them and together they set the example of what a marriage should be. He was a role model to his two daughters, Heather Henderson and Wendy Pesch. He taught them what it meant to be a good father, husband and instilled in them a solid work ethic. He was a brother to Kent Hill who may live far, but is close in heart. He was Papa to his three grandchildren, Will Henderson, Ayden and Bryden Pesch. He loved them more than they will ever know and they kept him young for many years. He set the example for many kids who weren't his own thru the church youth ministry and helped build a solid foundation for kids who needed stability. To say he was a hard worker is quite the understatement. He dedicated many years to being a breadman, which allowed him to provide for his family. He became known in the community because of this profession and many loved and respected him. But he wasn't all work and no play. He was an avid Nascar fan; a die hard Carolina fan and loved to bowl!
With only a few short words it is impossible to sum up the life of a man who touched the hearts of so many. His love will carry on in the hearts of those whose lives he has made a meaningful impact upon. He will be greeted in heaven by his father Rudolph Hill and mother Pauline Hill.
