Oneta Bayne (Currier) Hill

Oneta Currier Hill, 88, of New Bern, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Pruitt Health Care in New Bern.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Munden Funeral Home with Pastor Manley B. Rose, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at Over The Brook Cemetery in Atlantic.
Oneta was born and raised in Atlantic, NC. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister,
She is is survived by her sons, John W. Hill and his wife, Theresa Sawyer Hill of New Bern, James A. Hill and his wife Susan Liu of Cape Carteret, and Daniel T. Hill and his wife Connie Crawford Hill of New Bern; daughter, Martha Hill Carter and her husband Chuck of New Bern; one brother, Leon Currier, Jr of Atlantic; also 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 56 years, John G. Hill.
The family will receive friends and family an hour prior to the services.
